Apparel hanging in a retail room during a busy shopping period

Seasonal trading assessment

A look at the last two peak seasons, drawn before you commit space and orders for the next one.

Price basis: Quoted from seasons held and categories in scope

Before New Year, Easter, or the August holiday weeks, shops order as if last year’s peak will repeat. Often it does not. This assessment pulls the last two comparable seasons from your extracts, marks which families actually moved, and shows where markdowns ate the extra order.

You receive a short plate pack and a sitting timed at least four weeks before you lock supplier quantities. We will not forecast weather or tourist numbers. We will show what your own tills did when the same calendar last came round.

Apparel rooms and gift counters use this more than grocery. Grocery still asks for it when a promotional calendar is about to be signed.
