Buyer chart session

A closed sitting with buyers to read last month’s plates together, line by line, before supplier meetings.

Price basis: Session fee for up to four buyers

Buyers often receive a spreadsheet the night before a supplier sits down. The session is too late to argue from. A chart session is a half day with last month’s plates already drawn, so the room can mark which lines to defend and which to cut before anyone from the supplier arrives.

We prepare from the extract you send ten days prior. Up to four buyers can sit. The plates stay with you. We do not attend the supplier meeting unless you book that as a separate afternoon, which we rarely take.

This sitting suits a small chain that already runs a weekly briefing and wants the monthly supplier round to use the same groupings.
