How a briefing is drawn | Logic Routecore Analytics

A briefing is a craft with a fixed order. We keep that order so a grocer in Vake and a hardware counter in Kutaisi can expect the same sequence, even if their tills look nothing alike.

I. The extract, as it is

We take the file you already produce. Spreadsheet, CSV, or a printed week with totals. We do not ask you to rebuild the till. If Thursday is missing, the plate will show a gap. Filling gaps with averages is how briefings start lying.

II. Names the floor already uses

SKU codes are for the warehouse. Buyers talk in bays, families, and promotions. Giorgi keeps a grouping book per shop: the names you used in the first sitting, with the codes underneath. The book is yours. If you change a family name, we change the book; we do not keep a private version that drifts.

III. The comparison you will actually argue

Last week against last week is a habit, not always a question. Before we draw, we confirm the comparison: same week last year, last promotional week of the same type, or shop against shop. Mixing those on one plate is how meetings dissolve.

IV. Drawing, not decorating

Plates are charted in a style a photocopier will survive. Thick rules, few colours, titles that state the comparison in a sentence. We do not shade a bay to make it look urgent. Ember on this site is a printed taste, not a warning light on your yoghurt.

V. The sitting

Ninety minutes. Plates in order. Notes on the copies. One revision if a grouping was wrong. The sitting is the work; the PDF is the record. If no one who can markdown attends, we stop and reschedule rather than present to an empty mandate.

VI. The next extract

A weekly round only starts when the grouping book is trusted. You send on an agreed day. We return before the meeting you named. If a week arrives late, the sitting moves; we do not compress a dirty file overnight.
